LINE OF FIRE
Mixed media monoprint. 2018. 12' x 24". On May 3, 2018 Kilauea erupted. Lava fountains up to 300 ft high were seen in Puna near Leilani Estates. More than 2000 residents were forced to evacuate and about 574 acres of new land was created in the ocean. Fortunately by August it had subsided. By December, after three months of inactivity, it was declared to have ended.
HEAVY CLOUDS NO RAIN
Intaglio with chine-collé. 2018. 18" x 12". I asked my baby if there'd be some way. She said she save her love for a rainy day. So I look in the sky, but I look in vain. Heavy cloud, but no rain.
